How do I buy TAGRA after the trial?
Everything happens directly inside the software. At the end of the trial — or whenever you're ready — open the licence menu, select the version that matches your number of vehicles (TAGRA 1, 2, 4, 6 or MAX), and pay online. Payment is made by QR code or online transfer. Your licence is issued and activated immediately — you continue working in the same environment with all your data intact.
For whom is TAGRA designed?
TAGRA is tachograph analysis software designed for any transport operator required to perform driver card download, evaluation and archiving — from sole traders with one vehicle to large fleets with hundreds of vehicles. Choose the version that matches your number of vehicles: TAGRA 1, 2, 4, 6 or MAX (unlimited).
How do I get data into the software?
Data is loaded from the driver card (via a card reader or download key) and from the tachograph unit. TAGRA supports both manual loading via DOWNLOAD BOX II S and tachograph remote download through DOWNLOAD BOX REMOTE or DKV LIVE® integration.
How often must data be downloaded?
Driver cards at least every 28 days and the tachograph unit at least every 90 days. Downloaded data must be kept for a minimum of 1 year.
What file formats does TAGRA support?
Tachograph data is most commonly stored as .DDD files. Some countries also use .C1B (driver card) and .V1B or ESM (vehicle). These files cannot be opened with a standard viewer — you need dedicated tachograph analysis software like TAGRA for proper digital tachograph analysis.
What does the annual licence fee cover?
The annual fee covers continued licensing, software updates and technical support. The first year is included in the purchase price; from year 2 the fee is €19/year (TAGRA Trucker), €79/year (TAGRA 1–2), €99/year (TAGRA 4–6), or €139/year (TAGRA MAX), all excl. VAT.
Is TAGRA ready for the July 2026 van obligation?
Yes. All versions of TAGRA are fully prepared for vans (2.5–3.5 t vehicles in international transport) to which the new obligation to install a digital tachograph and download data regularly will apply from July 2026 under EU regulations.
Does TAGRA support Generation 2 V2 smart tachographs?
Yes. TAGRA fully supports second-generation intelligent tachographs (G2V2), which have been mandatory for new vehicles since 2023. The software correctly processes data from these devices including extended position records.
Can TAGRA be installed on multiple computers?
Each licence is bound to one specific computer. If you need to move the software to a different machine, contact the manufacturer Truck Data Technology to arrange a licence transfer. Network versions (TAGRA 4, 6, MAX) support multiple workstations sharing a central database — contact us for details.
